As a result, HeidelbergCement is now considered one of the sustainability leaders in the construction materials sector and is authorized to use the ISS-oekom Prime label. "Sustainability is an important part of our company strat- egy," said Dr. Bernd Scheifele, chairman of the managing board of HeidelbergCement. "We are very happy to be labeled with the Prime status by ISS-oekom. This is a clear evidence that we are on track with continuously improving our sustainability performance and reporting and that we are among the leaders in our industry in this respect." The ISS-oekom rating considers environmental perfor- mance as well as social and governance aspects by evalu- ating more than 100 sector-specific indicators with grades from A+ to D-. Currently, about 700 companies are rated as "Prime." from industry peers, and ultimately gain vital insight into the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. All areas of the cement ecosystem will be represented, from senior executives and technical experts to investors and equip- ment suppliers. The conference program will cover the outlook for the industry as well as looking at some of the most promising and innovative technologies being developed today. In both categories, the proj- ect must not have commenced execution prior to Jan. 1, 2019. There is no limit to the number of projects that any individual or team may enter in the competition. Howev- er, the same project may not be entered in both categories of the competition.
